Love introduces us with a total different human being in us. Our life partner helps us discover that inner self, which was lost till date. It is something very different and a feeling which makes us experience a trail of emotions. Smiles, laughter, sadness, cries, dance, happiness are actions, which are sudden when it comes to love. You won’t even realise, when are you smiling and suddenly tears would roll out of your eyes, leaving a question in your mind. This blissful feeling gets stronger and lifelong, when you tie the wedding knot with your love. There are many cultures in India, which witness love marriages such as Nadar Matrimony, Ezhava matrimonial, Hindu matrimony, etc.

The concept of marriages is well accepted in the Hindu society and much Hindu matrimony can be seen happening on this basis. Parents in India have become broadminded and are allowing their children for inter- caste marriages. Coming back to the feeling of love I must say, it makes you selfless, and in every way you want the happiness of your life partner. When you are in love, you are always worried about the happiness of your life partner and make all possible efforts to bring smoothness in his life.

Every marriage in fact is based on the concept that life is selfless and you are accountable for the happiness of your spouse. Hindu Matrimony also teaches the same you in its rituals, that you should support your soul mate at every point in life. The journey of life is all about making others happy and especially when it’s about your life partner; you should not leave any stone unturned to bring a smile on his face. As we say, actual love is when the reflection of his contended heart can be seen on your face.

A Wedding Is Incomplete Without Mesmerizing Flowers

Wedding Flowers
Flowers are known to be the best source for bringing smiles on the faces of our dear ones. Flowers are used for every occasion; they add contentment and beauty to the situation with their majestic fragrance. Talking about weddings, Christian matrimonies is the best example, which witnesses a delightful event, beautified with flowers all around.

Christian matrimonial is all about decent and light colours, so keeping this factor in mind, decorate your wedding venue with flowers in off-whites, whites, light pinks, and light purple. What you can do is, suspend the floral bouquets from the ceiling over tables, decorate some behind the altar, and keep them as a backdrop for the head table.

Try this! Keep the flowers in large bunches in the baskets, rather than cutting and arranging them.

A traditional bouquet for Christian brides is generally made up of white roses, white tulips, and white stephanotis, all in whites, isn’t that lovely! White corsages and bridal bouquets complement the classic white gowns of brides and the bridesmaid.
A decent combination of pink roses, hydrangeas, calla lillies, tulips and sweet peas can complement your wedding gown very well, try a long veil and pearl jewellery with that look.

Significance of White Flowers

White is the color of purity and innocence. This is the reason why Christian brides love to have flowers in whites, so that the bouquet can match their wedding gowns and also look great in the daylight. Such flowers in white are: flannel flowers, chamomiles, stephanotis, narcissus, cosmos, snowberries, dogwood, iris, miniature calla lilies and many more.

The role of flowers cannot be ignored in other religions also. Whether it is a Hindu wedding, a Muslim wedding or a Sikh wedding, it is incomplete without beautiful decor of the flowers. The bright hues of flowers can add beauty, color, and character to the wedding ceremony.

Life Is Beautiful and Marriage Makes You Realise IT’S Worth

All our life, we wait for the right person to come and fill our lives with happiness and contentment. If you are lucky, you get to meet your soul mate early and fall in love with him, resulting in a love marriage, while others tie the wedding knot as per the decision of their parents, i.e., arranged marriage. Most of the Indian communities are in favour of arranged marriage and so is Brahmin community. Brahmin matrimonies are celebrated strictly as per the Hindu rituals, with adherence to matrimonies within their caste. Marriage introduces an entire new chapter in our life, which incites freshness and liveliness. It totally depends on you, whether you welcome that happiness with open arms or just let it pass by.

Keeping your spouse happy and supporting him in each and every act, are the teachings given in most of the wedding ceremonies and same is in Brahmin matrimonials. It is the most beautiful bond you form in your life and nourishing it with love and care is your first and foremost duty. This bond has the power to cherish you with its charm, but only if you are willing to do the same. You get to realise the importance of life and each breath you take, when another life gets attached with yours. When a single phone call or a message takes your heart away, when your generosity brings a smile on your beloved’s face, that is the point, when you realise the life is so worth living not for yourself, but for the one you love.

After marriage, you live more for your spouse, than for yourself. Keeping him happy, doing things which adds love to your relation is all you want. Also, same things are taught in Brahmin matrimony and other matrimonial practices of India.

Mesmerizing Beauty of Bengali Brides

Bengali marriageBengali Matrimony can be distinguished from the other cultures because of the added artistic touch in the dressing and makeup of the bride. Sparkling large eyes and lustrous black hair add to the beauty of a Bengali bride. The bridal attire is so charming that you cannot take your eyes off the bride! A Bengali bride generally dresses in a vibrant red Banarasi Saree, woven with golden stings or buta work. The pattern of draping saree by Bengali brides is unique which gives them a traditional look. However, brides have become trendy and love wearing designer sarees for their wedding these days to look more graceful.

The hair locks of the bride are tied to form a high knot making a bun. The attire does not complete without a silk chunni, which a bride wears over her head. You must have noticed a tiara or Topor over her head, which makes the bride look amazing! Some beautiful designs are painted on her face with the help of chandan paste, which distinguishes a Bengali bride from other brides.

A big red vermillion bindi is put in the centre of the forehead of the bride, which is skillfully applied, making a round shape. Do not miss the feet and hands of the bride, applied with crimson Alta.

The bride is very beautifully decked in heavy gold wedding jewelery, including necklaces, nose ring, earrings, mang-tikka, anklets, kamardhani, bajuband, and may more. I have got the chance to attend many Bengali marriages and have noticed that the jewelery design of the Bengali's is generally very traditional, with floral designs and engraved peacocks or butterflies. The bangles worn by a Bengali bride are different from those worn by the brides of other states. The bangles generally include – Shankha - a conch shell bangle, Paula – a lac bangle and Loha- an iron bangle. Sindoor and the bangles define the marital status of the brides.
