Enjoy the Season of Love and Goodwill

Christmas is the time of spreading love and joy. The Yuletide spirit pervades in every part of the world. In India, where Hindu population is the majority, have many Christians as well. Patna, the capital of Bihar, has a good number of Christian populations residing in harmony with other religious communities. During the Christmas season, all the religious communities in the city celebrate this festival.

All the churches are illuminated and decorated with holly leaves, stars and Christmas trees. Themes from the Bible are created in the churches. The homes of the faithful are decorated with lights, stars and trees. The message of love and brotherhood is spread with families and friends distributing gifts. Spirit of love is in the air during the celebrations. This same spirit is found during christian matrimony functions.

Christians turn up in huge number on the eve of Christmas and attend the midnight mass. This is the time of festivities and carnivals are organized. Children and adults sings Christmas carols and many are dresses as Santa Claus. People, Christians and non-Christian visit the houses to share the joy and fun.

The markets have all the Christmas paraphernalia displayed. Items like Santa caps, fairies, starlight trees, candy sticks and plum cakes attract buyers. Shops near churches and in popular markets in the city stock them in advance.

The churches in the city donated warm clothes to the needy. Christmas spirit is incomplete without less fortunate brethren not receiving gifts. There are also cultural activities organized by the churches and the rich and poor participating. The missionary schools in the city also distributed cakes, sweets and candies.

This is the occasion when one likes to spend time with near and dear ones. These same emotions are reflected during the christian matrimonial functions. The various rituals not only bring the family closer, but the fun-element in the rituals reinvigorates the human bonds.

Types of Bridal Bouquets

Bridal Bouquets

Flowers are the main element of decoration and a wedding differentiators in Christian matrimonial. They provide a cozy atmosphere and different and allow you to customize all the spaces like the couple. It is wise decision to seek a good florist 1-2 months prior to the wedding.

The bridal bouquet is one of the most important accessories for a bride, if not the most important, and increasingly we have more options to customize and make it more special. Today I want to give some very interesting ideas I have found for the bridal bouquet for the Christian matrimonial, especially those that complement a simple wedding dress. Those delicate branches shall cause sensation, making your wedding spectacular.

Original Bouquets:

The first step in choosing the bridal bouquet in Christian matrimonial is to consider the wedding dress. The more prepared you are, the easier will be the bouquet. The height of the bride is also a factor to consider, if you are tall then you can go ahead with a cascading bouquet, and if, on the contrary, you are petite, try a stunning bouquet. Once you have chosen the type of the floral branch, ask your florist that what kind of accessories can be added to create a truly stunning bouquet.

Innovative Bouquets:

If you want to take a bold and sophisticated flavor, add peacock feathers to your bouquet. The contrast with the flowers is perfect which a very appropriate choice is also for this time of year. The combination of purple, red, and deep blue looks great. For a more traditional wedding, and an elaborate costume, I recommend a simple bouquet, but with a very cool touch. In addition, for the most romantic touch, try the spherical bunches hanging from a belt, cord or chain, which can be carried by the hand, like a bag of flowers.

A Wedding Is Incomplete Without Mesmerizing Flowers

Wedding Flowers
Flowers are known to be the best source for bringing smiles on the faces of our dear ones. Flowers are used for every occasion; they add contentment and beauty to the situation with their majestic fragrance. Talking about weddings, Christian matrimonies is the best example, which witnesses a delightful event, beautified with flowers all around.

Christian matrimonial is all about decent and light colours, so keeping this factor in mind, decorate your wedding venue with flowers in off-whites, whites, light pinks, and light purple. What you can do is, suspend the floral bouquets from the ceiling over tables, decorate some behind the altar, and keep them as a backdrop for the head table.

Try this! Keep the flowers in large bunches in the baskets, rather than cutting and arranging them.

A traditional bouquet for Christian brides is generally made up of white roses, white tulips, and white stephanotis, all in whites, isn’t that lovely! White corsages and bridal bouquets complement the classic white gowns of brides and the bridesmaid.
A decent combination of pink roses, hydrangeas, calla lillies, tulips and sweet peas can complement your wedding gown very well, try a long veil and pearl jewellery with that look.

Significance of White Flowers

White is the color of purity and innocence. This is the reason why Christian brides love to have flowers in whites, so that the bouquet can match their wedding gowns and also look great in the daylight. Such flowers in white are: flannel flowers, chamomiles, stephanotis, narcissus, cosmos, snowberries, dogwood, iris, miniature calla lilies and many more.

The role of flowers cannot be ignored in other religions also. Whether it is a Hindu wedding, a Muslim wedding or a Sikh wedding, it is incomplete without beautiful decor of the flowers. The bright hues of flowers can add beauty, color, and character to the wedding ceremony.
